OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Independence, MO by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Run OTR dry van freight nationwide for HMD Trucking operating out of Independence, MO. Drivers use late-model company tractors (under three years) with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by responsive in-house maintenance to keep runs on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a CDL-A truck, complete deliveries, and uphold accurate logs in accordance with regulations.
• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections, secure cargo and report any defects.

Requirements & package:

• CDL-A license and at least 12 months verifiable driving experience required.
• 65¢/mi starting pay, average weekly miles around 2,500, bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals, home every two weeks, and full health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k) benefits.
