As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing relationships with existing and prospective AHF suppliers, including measuring and improving supplier performance. This position will manage assigned categories, including Installation Materials & Accessories (IMA) and resilient chemical raw materials, by developing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, monitoring market trends, mitigating supply risk, and delivering cost savings and value across the portfolio.This position must ensure that cost-effective materials are selected and that suppliers have the necessary supply chain, production, and management systems in place to meet AHF and customer requirements. Success requires regular collaboration with Product Management, Project Management, R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and maximize customer satisfaction.This position leads large, highly visible strategic sourcing, new product development, cost-reduction, process improvement, and optimization initiatives from initial concept through implementation. The Procurement Manager is accountable for achieving savings targets, executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier performance, and delivering measurable business results through a collaborative, cross-functional approach.Job Duties:Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for assigned categories, including Installation Materials & Accessories (IMA) and resilient chemical raw materials, ensuring alignment with business objectives and supply chain strategies.Lead RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and sourcing initiatives in partnership with the Global Sourcing team to ensure material specifications, supplier quality requirements, capacity, and commercial objectives are achieved.Negotiate pricing, commercial agreements, terms and conditions, and long-term supply strategies with domestic and international suppliers to deliver cost savings, supply continuity, and value.Serve as a trusted procurement advisor to Product Management, R&D, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, and Supply Chain by providing market intelligence, supplier insights, and sourcing recommendations.Develop supplier performance scorecards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor quality, delivery, service, innovation, and cost performance.Build collaborative supplier relationships that foster innovation, continuous improvement, and mutually beneficial business partnerships while balancing business priorities and customer needs.Lead supplier performance reviews and development initiatives to improve quality, reduce defects, optimize costs, and strengthen supplier capabilities.Analyze category spend, market trends, commodity drivers, and supplier performance to develop and execute category strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate supply risk.Lead contract negotiations, coordinate negotiation strategies, conduct supplier due diligence, and ensure compliance with company policies and commercial requirements.Benchmark procurement best practices internally and externally to drive continuous improvement and support the development of a world-class procurement organization.Monitor supply markets, commodity trends, tariffs, and geopolitical risks to proactively identify supply chain disruptions and implement mitigation strategies.Travel: Less than 20% of travel expectedJob Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, or accounting or equivalent with related experience in the procurement field.Minimum of 5 years procurement experience required.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute category strategies, strategic sourcing initiatives, and supplier negotiations.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate total cost of ownership, market trends, and supply chain risks.Ability to influence cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.Knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, contract management, supplier relationship management (SRM), and the procure-to-pay process.Understanding of commodity markets, supplier performance metrics, and cost drivers affecting manufacturing supply chains.Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification, and drug screening.Positive and verifiable work history.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience in Manufacturing Procurement or Raw Materials.Prior experience in the wood or resilient flooring industry.Physical Demands:Regular walking and sitting.Occasional stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping and other such repetitive movements.Must be able to communicate, hear, comprehend, and write in English.Mental Demands:Make decisionsDevelop options and implement solutionsWork with a teamMaintain regular and punctual attendance (consistent with ADA and/or FMLA)Attention to detailCommunicate effectivelyMultitask in a fast-paced environmentWork with a sense of urgencyAHF Products provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.AHF Products is a leading hard surface flooring manufacturer in the USA with a family of trusted brands serving the residential and commercial hardwood, tile, and vinyl flooring markets.
