Controller – CPA (Permanent, Onsite – Miami, FL)
Location: Miami, FL (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: $190K–$220K Base + 20% Bonus + Equity (Total Compensation: $275K–$300K)
Priority Requirements
- CPA required (non-negotiable)
- Stable work history ( no job hoppers )
- Willing to relocate from anywhere in the U.S.
- Experience with companies generating $500M+ in annual revenue
- Experience managing organizations with 300+ employees
- Managed a finance/accounting team of 10+ professionals
- Extensive experience with M&A, IPOs, refinancing, and other significant transactions
- Strong experience working with:
- External auditors
- Board of Directors
- External regulatory agencies
- Proven leadership in corporate accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls
Preferred Background
- Controller or Assistant Controller in a large corporate environment
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (GAAP)
- Experience leading month-end/year-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes
- Executive-level communication and leadership skills
