Retail Service Specialist

Compensation & Benefits $14.42 - $20.40 hourly rate, meeting or exceeding minimum wage. Responsibilities Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise customer service levels in the showroom, ensuring team members execute customer service programs such as Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot. Ensure the telephone is answered in accordance with company policy. Process buy‑online/ship‑to‑store, hub and store‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner; contact customers upon shipment arrivals. Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently following procedures, using the electronic outside purchase order ledger. Process retail customer returns and exchanges accurately, issue refunds with correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise in the returns area. Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store. Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker & merchandising tasks. Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedule, obtain approval for changes, and clock in/out per company policy. Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, money/deposit verification, bank deposit preparation, security lights, door locking, alarm arming/disarming, and securing delivery vehicles. Assume shift‑management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong communication skills. RSS Certification (required). Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts. Knowledge of automotive systems and repair. A.S.E. Certification. Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish highly desired.
