As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, and responding to access control and alarm panel activity. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and support a professional presence that helps deter incidents. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for visitors, contractors, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access-related records while communicating professionally with building management and occupants.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including common areas, access points, parking facilities, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
