ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Katie Rider - State Farm Agent is seeking an organized and efficient contributor to generate new customer opportunities, improve lead follow-up, and schedule qualified appointments for the sales team.  As an Intern with my office, your attention to detail, dedication to customer relations, and marketing-mindedness equip you for this versatile position. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed-upon expectations.
• Conduct outbound prospecting to local businesses and community contacts. 
• Gather basic prospect information before handing the opportunity to a licensed team member.
• Help generate referral opportunities from current customers.
• Maintain accurate notes and follow-up dates in the agency CRM.
• Support social media, community marketing, and local prospecting campaigns. 
• Schedule insurance review appointments for licensed team members.
• Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
• Comfortable making outbound phone calls and speaking with prospective customers 
• Strong organization and time-management skills 
• Comfortable working toward measurable activity and appointment-setting goals 
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Coachable and willing to receive regular feedback 
• Interest in sales, insurance, financial services, business development, or entrepreneurship
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with customer information
