Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leader in the agricultural research industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Sampling team supporting genotyping projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and strong collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Johnston, IA

Pay Range: $22 hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

What's the Job?

Ensure all sampling materials are prepared accurately, timely, and safely.
Assist with tasks such as cleaning, handling, packaging, and storing seed or samples.
Maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Operate proprietary equipment used in sampling processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement solutions.
