Direct Counsel is partnering with a well-established law firm seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Asbestos and Product Liability practice group. This is a great opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain hands-on litigation experience while benefiting from strong mentorship and career development support. What You’ll Do: Handle asbestos, toxic tort, and product liability matters Manage cases from early stages through resolution Draft and respond to written discovery Prepare and argue motions Take and defend depositions Appear in court for hearings and proceedings as needed What We’re Looking For: 2–5 years of relevant litigation experience (asbestos, toxic tort, or product liability preferred) Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school Experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions Strong organizational, writing, and advocacy skills Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines Willingness to make in-person court appearances when required Note: Candidates with more experience are welcome to apply. Compensation and title will align with relevant experience.
