Job Summary:

Telemetry Nurse in Tyler, Texas. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry services. The role requires managing complex patient conditions and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); valid Texas state or compact nursing license; 0 years of experience minimum, preferred 2 years of experience; experience with telemetry monitoring preferred; must be able to manage Vasoactive drips, interpret dysrhythmias, and provide cardiac patient care
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with access managing ports, arterial line management, feeding tube care, and wound care is a plus
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information:
  • Serving adult patients with a daily census of 36 in private rooms
  • Providing care for patients recovering from cardiac interventions such as cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, and pacemaker implantation
  • Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams
  • Must complete core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing during onboarding
