General Manager – Vancouver, WA (Onsite)

Our client is seeking a hands‑on, entrepreneurial General Manager to lead and grow a well‑established business unit serving multiple states throughout the western U.S. This is an outstanding opportunity for a leader who enjoys building teams, driving revenue, and creating operational excellence within a growing organization. This is a fully onsite leadership role based in Vancouver, Washington, with approximately 40-50% travel throughout the territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all day‑to‑day business operations while driving profitable growth.
• Own the business unit’s profit and loss performance and achieve annual revenue and profitability goals.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans that support long‑term expansion.
• Build, coach, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team across sales, operations, project management, administration, and support functions.
• Create a culture focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Review sales activity, forecasts, pipelines, and operational performance to ensure objectives are consistently achieved.
• Identify new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers and partners.
• Personally participate in high‑value sales opportunities and key customer meetings.
• Analyze financial performance, margins, operating expenses, and business trends to make informed decisions.
• Read and interpret financial statements and P&L reports to improve overall business performance.
• Partner with accounting and administrative leadership to monitor budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
• Establish performance metrics and hold the team accountable for achieving results.
• Ensure operational efficiency while maintaining high quality standards and excellent customer service.
• Oversee facility operations, inventory, equipment, and office management as needed.
• Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive sales or business development experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or management experience leading teams and driving performance.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to manage revenue, profitability, and operational performance.
• Proven history of growing sales, expanding market share, and developing customer relationships.
• Experience leading both sales and operational functions.
• Comfortable reviewing financial reports, KPIs, budgets, and P&L statements.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with business reporting and data analysis.
• Experience using CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel approximately 40-50%.
• Valid driver's license.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and occasionally working at heights when necessary.
