Residential Remodeling Sales Consultant


Compensation: Commission Employment Type: Full-Time


We are seeking an experienced Residential Remodeling Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This candidate will be responsible for developing new business, meeting with homeowners, identifying remodeling needs, presenting solutions, and guiding customers through the sales process from initial consultation through project agreement.


This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys working directly with homeowners and has a strong understanding of residential construction and remodeling.


Key Responsibilities

• Generate and develop new residential remodeling opportunities through leads, referrals, networking, and self-generated business.
  
  
• Meet with homeowners to understand project goals, budgets, timelines, and expectations.
  
  
• Conduct in-home consultations and provide professional recommendations based on customer needs.
  
  
• Present remodeling solutions, project scopes, pricing, and options to prospective customers.
  
  
• Prepare estimates and proposals for residential remodeling projects.
  
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners throughout the sales process.
  
  
• Follow up consistently with prospective customers to convert opportunities into signed projects.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, proposals, and sales activity.
  
  
• Work closely with Project Managers, Designers, Estimators, and production teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to construction.
  
  
• Develop an understanding of project scope, materials, labor requirements, and construction processes.
  
  
• Identify opportunities for additional services and project enhancements.
  
  
• Participate in networking events, community activities, and other business development efforts.
  
  
• Consistently meet or exceed established sales goals.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential remodeling, construction sales, or related experience preferred
  
  
• Proven track record of success in in-home or consultative sales
  
  
• Strong understanding of residential construction and remodeling processes
  
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  
  
• Ability to build trust and rapport with homeowners
  
  
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  
  
• Ability to manage multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously
  
  
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and competitive mindset
  
  
• Professional appearance and excellent customer-service skills
  
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  
  
• Experience with CRM and estimating software is a plus
