Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a highly skilled professional focused on reading instruction and dyslexia intervention. This contract-based opportunity is perfect for those passionate about literacy, with two immediate onsite roles—one at an elementary campus and another at a high school campus.
Your expertise will be invaluable in providing targeted support and intervention to learners, fostering both their academic success and confidence. In this dynamic educational setting, you'll collaborate with educators and families to implement effective strategies, empower students facing reading challenges, and champion best practices for literacy development.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- A current General Teaching Endorsement
- At least one of the following qualifications:
- Reading Endorsement
- Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT)
- Licensed Dyslexia Practitioner (LDP)
- Proven ability to work with students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties
- Experience providing support at the elementary or secondary school level
- Familiarity with evidence-based reading interventions and assessment methods
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Your Contributions Will Include:
- Delivering direct dyslexia and reading intervention services to students
- Working with multi-disciplinary teams to assess and monitor student progress
- Planning, adapting, and implementing individualized learning objectives
- Providing resources, training, and guidance to classroom teachers
- Engaging and communicating with families regarding students’ needs and progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation per campus and district standards
