Here, you'll support solving some of our clients' biggest challenges and help us grow the business.How a Subcontracts Administrator will make an impact:Develops and administers subcontracts and other agreements of intermediate value and risk in accordance with client requirements and GDIT policies and proceduresAdministers subcontracts through pre-award planning, subcontract award, post-award administration, and closeoutDocuments all actions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and company policySupports new business activities including issuing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Teaming Agreements (TA), soliciting subcontractor proposals, negotiating subcontractor pricing, and evaluating proposal submissionsPerforms analysis on proposed subcontractor pricing to ensure price reasonablenessProvides advice and interpretation of contract requirementsTeam player who is willing to jump in and help other Subcontracts Administrators meet critical deadlines and is willing to at times work additional hours to meet mission needsThe ability to quickly move from one action to another with a strong memory and attention to detailGenerate reports or responses to data calls on subcontract activity as requiredServes as a liaison and facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issuesInitiates and maintains a network of communication with GDIT internal stakeholders as well as external suppliersWhat you'll need to succeed:Education: Bachelor's degreeExperience: 2+ years of related experience in Subcontracts Administration or Contracts Administration experienceRequired Technical Skills: Microsoft Office SuiteRequired Skills and Abilities:Effective administrative and organizational skills both written and oralAbility to juggle multiple RFPs and subcontracts status and actionsEffective communication skillsAbility to operate and negotiate independently and escalating when necessaryProblem solving skills and ability to juggle a volume of different activities on any given dayCustomer service skills, attention to detail, and responsiveness and highly productive in high stress situationsSecurity Clearance Level: No clearance neededLocation: This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Herndon, VA. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
