Responsibilities Welcome customers, read and listen to people to determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, and take food and drink orders. Assist servers with beverage orders. Inform customers about new beverages and specials. Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to customers. Check identification to ensure customers are of the legal age to purchase alcohol. Take inventory and report to the manager for ordering supplies to ensure the bar and tables are well-stocked. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
