Customer Service Specialist

Job Details Job Location: NOVI MICHIGAN - NOVI, MI 48375 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 Hourly Job Category: Manufacturing Orotex is a successful global manufacturing company originating from Japan with roots in the U.S. for over 20 years. We specialize in cutting‑edge noise and vibration control components for Tier 1 Automotive manufacturers. Purpose of the Position Provide customer service to all Orotex customers, data entry, support all department goal. Duties and Responsibilities Enter customer orders and production data into Excel spreadsheets Enter and maintain customer orders and forecasts using Macola Assist all customers with their needs Create and monitor sales orders Transfer forecast data from EDI to Macola Conduct physical inventory counts as required Ensure all daily paperwork is completed by packers and verify information Cross train in other areas and perform other duties as assigned or required Qualifications Detailed oriented and motivated with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Strong computer skills (inventory systems, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Ability to work independently, excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to understand, speak and read English Previous automotive experience with high‑volume manufacturing preferred Ability to work overtime as needed Ability to follow written and verbal instructionsHigh School Diploma or GED Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for 8 plus hours daily Ability to use both hands, wrists, and arms with continual motion Ability to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects Ability to lift 50 plus pounds repeatedly Ability to bend, stoop and walk frequently Working Conditions Standard office environment. May require walking through production floor around noisy equipment. Personal Protective Equipment Required Safety glasses at all times, safety gloves, non‑slip work shoes, ear plugs as necessary.
