Job Description

Occupational Therapist - Home Health Care 

Location: City of Detroit
Schedule: 40 hours per week, day shift
On-Call Requirements: Minimum of one weekend per month, plus one summer holiday and one winter holiday
Compensation & Benefits: $10,000 sign-on bonus; eligible for full-time benefits

The position will be in the city of Detroit

**General Summary**

Under the supervision of the site Team Leader or Supervisor, the Occupational Therapist will:

• **Deliver impactful OT evaluations and treatment** that make a real difference in patients' lives and help them reclaim their independence
• **Build meaningful connections** by communicating openly and collaboratively with patients, coworkers, physicians, and team members—keeping everyone in the loop on patient progress and care needs while maintaining thorough documentation
• **Lead and empower** your Assistant and tech team members by delegating thoughtfully and supervising with confidence
• **Keep the wheels turning** by ensuring all patient billing information is completed accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Master's Degree, preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

• Current State of Michigan Registration and National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Patient care setting with potential exposure to communicable disease.
• Limited noise, temperature fluctuation and dust are possible.
