Position Summary

We are seeking a Commercial Roofing Inside Sales Coordinator to support our growing commercial roofing operation in the St. Louis market. This position serves as a critical link between customers, vendors, project teams, and operations by managing quotations, takeoffs, purchasing, material coordination, and project support activities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced construction environment. Commercial roofing experience is preferred, but candidates with estimating, project coordination, construction materials, or distribution experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare customer quotations and material estimates for commercial roofing projects
• Review blueprints, specifications, and construction documents to develop accurate takeoffs
• Coordinate material purchasing and procurement activities
• Manage receiving and inventory-related functions as needed
• Support project scheduling and job coordination efforts
• Work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success
• Process customer orders and maintain accurate project documentation
• Monitor material pricing and availability from manufacturers and suppliers
• Assist customers with product selection and roofing system recommendations
• Track active projects from bid stage through completion
• Resolve customer concerns and provide exceptional service throughout the sales process
• Support branch growth initiatives and commercial roofing sales objectives

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial roofing, construction materials, estimating, project coordination, inside sales, or related industries preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
• Experience preparing material takeoffs and estimates is highly desirable
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems is a strong plus
• Familiarity with estimating software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar platforms is preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
