Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.$2.50/hr. for 3rd shift differentialOverviewPOSITION SUMMARY: The PCT/CNA-Float provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs. This position requires floating to various departments within the medical center.QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant preferredCPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLSPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED Experience (Required for Uncertified Nursing Assistants)6 months experience in a clinical healthcare environment6 months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patientsOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
