Job Description The Assistant Manager position is typically in training to become a store General Manager. This position requires a full-time commitment, physically and mentally, as it is a very demanding role. The Assistant Manager works on an hourly basis and may work up to 55 hours a week, covering lunch, evening, and late‑night dayparts. Candidates must be available to work any hours of the day and any day of the week, including weekends. Although pizza‑making experience is not required, prior retail/restaurant experience is preferred. Training lasts between six months and two years, during which formal training modules and classes are completed on the path to a General Manager. The Assistant Manager will learn everything from customer service to people management, product preparation and quality, to inventory control.
