Regional Vice President

BRPH

BRPH is a technically focused, creative architecture, engineering, and construction company with over six decades of expertise in helping mission-driven clients in the aerospace, defense, manufacturing, commercial, education, entertainment, hospitality, and federal markets identify gaps in their program delivery and develop innovative solutions to their most challenging problems across the U.S. and around the world. Consistently ranked among the nation’s top firms, we take pride in solving complex challenges with forward-thinking solutions. POSITION SUMMARY BRPH is in search of a Regional Office Leader for our Atlanta, Georgia office. The ideal Regional Office Leader is accountable for the performance, growth, culture, and market presence of an assigned BRPH office and its surrounding region. As the senior local representative of the firm, this leader translates BRPH's Architecture and Engineering (A/E) strategic plan into a practical regional growth and operating plan that advances client service, talent, quality, profitability, and long-term market position. This is a matrixed leadership role that works closely with Executive Leadership, Business Unit Leaders, Market and Practice Leaders, Project Managers, discipline leaders, and Corporate Services. The Regional Office Leader balances enterprise priorities with local market needs, promotes cross-office collaboration and resource sharing, and ensures that internal office performance and external growth activities reinforce one another. INTERNAL LEADERSHIP People, culture, resources, operations, project performance, quality, financial results, and communication. EXTERNAL LEADERSHIP Clients, business development, strategic markets, partnerships, economic development, and community presence. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Plan Leadership and Regional Accountability Translate and execute the firm's A/E strategic plan into a regional growth and operating plan with clear priorities, accountable owners, milestones, and measurable outcomes for their region. Support annual business, workforce, and investment plans in coordination with Executive Leadership, Business Unit Leaders, Market and Practice Leaders, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Corporate Services. Support overall AE and business unit leader strategies in development of a multi-year view of regional market demand, strategic client needs, capability gaps, succession requirements, facilities, technology, and other investments needed to support sustainable growth. Make decisions that balance local needs with firmwide priorities and reinforce collaboration across offices, markets, disciplines, and business units. Internal Leadership: People, Culture, and Communication Serve as the visible senior leader for the office and an accessible point of contact for team members reinforcing BRPH values, ethical conduct, accountability, inclusion, and a client-focused culture. Create a positive, two-way communication link between corporate and team members through regular office meetings, leadership updates, listening sessions, and timely follow-up on questions or concerns. Partner with Human Resources and functional leaders to recruit, select, onboard, deploy, develop, and retain talented, goal-oriented associates who support current needs and future growth. Provide mentoring and staff-development support and feedback to BUL and discipline leaders for team members assigned to regional office. Support performance, conduct, engagement, or retention concerns promptly and consistently in partnership with the appropriate people leaders and Human Resources. Internal Leadership: Resource Planning and Office Operations Support regional workforce planning by forecasting demand, evaluating capacity and skill mix, and coordinating the sharing of staff across offices and business units to benefit the goals of the firm. Supervise or coordinate the general administration of the office, including facilities, office services, technology needs, safety, security, emergency preparedness, and business-continuity planning, in partnership with Corporate Services. Develop with the AE President the regional office operating budget and related staffing, space, technology, and administrative forecasts; monitor expenses and make recommendations for corrective action or investment. Ensure compliance with company policies, delegated authorities, confidentiality requirements, records-management practices, and applicable legal, safety, and professional standards. Create a professional, efficient, and welcoming office environment that supports associate productivity, collaboration, recruiting, client engagement, and the BRPH brand. Internal Leadership: Project Delivery, Quality, Risk, and Financial Performance Partner with Project Managers, discipline leaders, and Business Unit Leaders to monitor the regional project portfolio for scope, schedule, budget, staffing, quality, risk, client satisfaction, and overall health. Participate in project-health reviews and provide early leadership intervention, resources, or escalation support for at-risk projects, client concerns, staffing gaps, or performance issues. Assist with and reinforce QA/QC project reviews, design standards, technical excellence, lessons learned, and consistent application of the firm's project-delivery and risk-management processes. Promote integrated, multidisciplinary delivery and connect clients and project teams to the full range of BRPH capabilities when those services improve outcomes. External Leadership: Client and Business Development Lead the regional business-development and client-growth plan in alignment with strategic markets, target accounts, revenue and backlog goals, and the firm's approved go-to-market priorities. Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic clients, prospects, and influencers through regular visits, listening, timely follow-up, problem solving, and ongoing support. Develop or coordinate account plans for priority clients, including relationship mapping, client needs, competitive position, opportunity pipeline, cross-market potential, and specific actions to expand and protect the relationship. Identify, qualify, and advance high-value opportunities; lead or support capture planning, go/no-go decisions, teaming strategy, proposal development, interviews, pricing strategy, negotiations, and post-selection debriefs. Support with business unit leaders accurate, timely information in the firm's approved business-development and forecasting systems for regional office opportunities, and provide clear visibility into pipeline quality, probability, timing, investment needs, and risks. Monitor client satisfaction and resolve issues quickly, coordinating executive sponsorship and firmwide resources when needed to protect relationships and create repeat business. Promote cross-selling and coordinated pursuit of BRPH services across markets, disciplines, and offices while avoiding fragmented or competing client approaches. External Leadership: Market, Partnership, and Community Presence Serve as the primary regional focal point for economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, market-specific associations, professional organizations, civic leaders, universities, and other strategic community stakeholders. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships, teaming relationships, consultant networks, and industry connections that expand access to clients, talent, market intelligence, and differentiated capabilities. Monitor regional economic, demographic, competitive, procurement, and investment trends; communicate relevant intelligence and recommend actions to firm leaders and pursuit teams. Represent BRPH at client, industry, recruiting, and community events and contribute to thought leadership, speaking opportunities, panels, and other activities that strengthen the firm’s credibility and visibility. Lead community-support and sponsorship activities that align with BRPH values, strategic markets, talent priorities, and the office's desired regional impact. Protect and enhance the BRPH brand by ensuring consistent, professional representation in all external interactions and by coordinating public-facing activity with Marketing and Communications. Enterprise Collaboration, Governance, and Reporting Participate actively in leadership, business-planning, and provide clear reporting on regional results, pipeline, staffing, project health, market conditions, and required decisions. Communicate enterprise priorities and leadership decisions to office team members and provide constructive local feedback, market intelligence, and recommendations to firm leadership. Coordinate with Business Unit, Market, Practice, Project, and Corporate Services leaders to clarify ownership, resolve conflicts, and ensure that commitments are executed consistently. Support adoption of new systems, processes, standards, organizational changes, and strategic initiatives within the office and region. Perform other duties and assume additional responsibilities as assigned based on business needs and the evolution of the firm's strategic plan. KEY MEASURES OF SUCCESS Measures may be refined annually to reflect the firm’s strategic priorities, regional market conditions, and the scope of the assigned office or region. Growth and retention of strategic clients, quality of the opportunity pipeline, win rate, repeat business, and expansion of BRPH services within priority accounts. Client satisfaction, timely resolution of issues, and a consistent reputation for responsive, high-quality service. Successful recruiting, onboarding, engagement, retention, development, and succession of associates and leaders. Effective cross-office and cross-business-unit collaboration, resource sharing, and contribution to enterprise priorities. A safe, compliant, efficient, and positive office environment with strong communication and community presence. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a closely related A/E discipline required. A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in the architecture, engineering, design, or consulting industry, including experience in at least one BRPH market sector. A minimum of five years of experience as a Project Manager in an A/E environment, with demonstrated responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, quality, client relationships, and project financial performance.
