Job Description Location-West Bloomfield Full Time Shift - Afternoons 1pm-1130pm Role Overview As a Patient Registration Rep, you'll be the welcoming face and voice for patients, ensuring a smooth and compassionate registration process. You'll support patients, visitors, and clinical/non-clinical staff by managing registration, insurance verification, and cash collections. Your role is vital in creating a positive first impression and ensuring patients feel supported from the moment they connect with us. What You Will Do Greet and check in patients face-to-face, ensuring a welcoming experience. Verify insurance eligibility and handle cash collections accurately. Update patient registration and insurance information in our systems. Respond to inquiries from callers and customers, advocating on their behalf. Perform new patient registration and preregistration tasks efficiently. Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Ability to provide exceptional customer service over the phone, in person, and in writing. Willingness and ability to instruct others. Preferred Qualifications One (1) year of experience in patient admitting, registration, or insurance eligibility in a hospital or medical office setting.
