Job Details:

Job Title: BACKFILL-First Assistant (801) - SMH - 7:00AM-7:00 PM/13 weeks

Location: Millcreek, UT

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 1824.49 - 1915.71

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: At least 2 years First Assist experience, CSFA or CFA certification, willingness to work weekends and on call, ability to follow unit policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in various surgical procedures including general surgery, urology, GYN, spine, neuro, ortho, robotics, vascular, and others.
• Ensure preparation and assistance during surgeries in the main OR.
• Follow hospital policies and safety protocols during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to facilitate efficient patient care.
• Maintain proper sterilization and dress code requirements.
