Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) opportunity is available in Easton, Maryland. This position involves providing advanced post-operative care to patients across pediatrics, adolescents, and adults within a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of orientation. The PACU is open from 07:30 AM to 08:30 PM, and shifts may vary between 8 and 10 hours. The role includes on-call responsibilities, holiday shifts, and floating within the specialty, other units, and sister facilities.

Job Details:

• Location: Easton, Maryland
• Shift: Days position; shifts vary between 07:00 15:30 and 07:00 17:30, totaling 12 hours.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Required Qualifications: Active Maryland RN license; ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications; no minimum years of experience specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charting system Epic; community hospital experience.
• Floats: Required within the specialty, other units, and sister facilities within scope.
• Additional Information:
  • Vaccinations: Flu Vaccine (required); COVID-19 Vaccine not required.
  • On-call responsibilities: Yes; days are Friday (19000700), Saturday (07000700), and Sunday (07000730), plus holiday shifts from 07001900. Nurses are scheduled for three on-call shifts in a four-week period, based on unit needs.
  • Submission requirements: High vaccination compliance.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required, with CPI certification as part of compliance (online version accepted).
  • Shift flexibility and floating within scope are mandatory.
