Mig/ Flux Core Welder

We are seeking a skilled welder who is proficient in welding Mig and stick braze, silver solder-pressure welding, and grinding. The role involves setting up and operating various types of welding equipment and brazing applications, pre-fabrication and fabrication of skids and power units, structural welding, and welding for cylinder machine parts and repairs. The welder will be responsible for ensuring the quality of parts produced and completing tasks in a timely manner. Additionally, the role requires operating various tools and monitoring equipment while performing routine maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mig and stick brazing, silver solder-pressure welding, and grinding.
• Setup and operate all types of welding equipment and brazing applications.
• Pre-fabricate and fabricate skids and power units.
• Conduct structural welding and fill welds for cylinder machine parts.
• Carry out welding for cylinder repairs.
• Ensure the quality of parts produced.
• Operate various tools such as shears, saws, benders, and drill press.
• Monitor equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Complete tasks in a timely fashion.
• Read and interpret drawings and prints.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, focusing on safety regulations.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Mig welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Expertise in welding fabrication, stainless steel assembly, and flux core brazing.
• Experience with plasma cutters and quality control processes.
• AWS certification, G3 and G4 certified.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to convey ideas or concepts effectively.
• Accountability for actions and ability to read and interpret documents.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
