About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to serve as the senior physician executive, providing strategic leadership, clinical oversight, and medical direction for all healthcare services. The CMO will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered, evidence-based care, and will work to advance quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and population health initiatives. This role involves collaboration with executive leadership, providers, and clinical staff, as well as serving as the primary clinical advisor to the CEO. The CMO will also lead initiatives to address health disparities, promote preventive care, and integrate behavioral health, and will be involved in the organization's strategic planning and clinical service expansion. Candidates for the CMO position at the company should have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, a current unrestricted medical license, and a minimum of five years of progressive physician leadership experience, preferably in a community health or ambulatory care setting. Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills are essential, as is proficiency with electronic health records and healthcare technology. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and healthcare operations, and a background in working with underserved and culturally diverse populations. The CMO will also be involved in financial stewardship, operational oversight, and patient safety and risk management, and must be Board Certified in an approved medical specialty.
