Interventional Radiology Technologist

Key Qualifications
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT certification required)
- Specialized training or certification in Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Experience operating advanced IR imaging equipment
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols
- Ability to quickly respond and adapt in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and clinical staff
Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment during minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
- Assist physicians in complex vascular and non-vascular interventions
- Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation of procedures
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations for radiation and hazardous materials
- Prepare sterile fields and ensure proper patient positioning
- Maintain a compassionate, reassuring presence for patients before and during procedures
- Participate in quality assurance and equipment maintenance activities as needed
