Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Additional ARRT certification in Interventional Radiography preferred
• 1+ year of recent experience as an IR Tech in a healthcare environment
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy, angiography, and advanced IR procedures
• Comprehensive knowledge of sterile technique and patient safety protocols
• Familiarity with PACS and hospital electronic medical records
• Outstanding communication skills and a dedicated, team-oriented mindset

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with a full range of interventional radiology procedures under the direction of a radiologist
• Prepare, screen, and educate patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring comfort and reassurance
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting and coordinating service as needed
• Adhere to established imaging protocols while observing ALARA radiation safety standards
• Accurately document procedures, patient data, and imaging results in the EMR
• Support physicians during minimally invasive guidance and post-procedure monitoring
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and compliant work environment
