What You'll Do Patient Experience & Front Desk Operations- Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, creating a welcoming and professional experience.
- Support patients through seamless check-in and check-out processes.
- Respond promptly to patient questions, concerns, and requests.
- Promote patient satisfaction initiatives and encourage participation in patient experience surveys.
- Complete patient registration, including demographic updates, consent forms, HIPAA documentation, and insurance verification.
- Verify insurance eligibility for federal, state, and commercial plans at every patient encounter.
- Confirm primary and secondary insurance coverage and maintain accurate payer sequencing.
- Review insurance cards and photo identification to ensure accurate coverage information.
- Collect co-pays, co-insurance, share-of-cost payments, and self-pay balances.
- Maintain accurate provider schedules for physicians, advanced practice providers, laboratory services, and nursing visits.
- Conduct outreach regarding missed appointments and schedule follow-up visits.
- Answer and route incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate EMR records by filing, retrieving, and forwarding patient information as needed.

Required Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical front office setting
- Minimum 1 year of experience with insurance eligibility and verification
- Minimum 1 year of experience using EMR systems, patient registration, and scheduling software
- Strong patient service and customer service skills
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
