Electrician (Weekend Days)

Insight Global is hiring a Weekend Days Electrician A in an industrial manufacturing environment in Dover, NJ. The role focuses on maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment to ensure plant operations run smoothly, including preventive maintenance and compliance with safety standards. Core Responsibilities Install and maintain electrical systems (motors, transformers, wiring, switches, heaters, alarms). Inspect circuits for proper shielding and grounding, repair per building codes. Perform preventive maintenance on all plant electrical equipment. Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs, analog signals, and set up VFDs. Assist in training junior electricians. Occasionally perform minor mechanical maintenance. Ensure compliance with EHS policies and PPE requirements. Required Skills 4+ years as an Electrician or and Electrical Technician Ability to read ladder logic and blueprints. PLC troubleshooting experience. Familiarity with VFD setup and alarm code troubleshooting. Knowledge of HMI systems. Comfortable working with high voltage (up to 600V) . Industrial/manufacturing environment experience.
