Summary Medical Receptionists directly interact with patients collecting and providing information concerning the patients' medical care. Receptionists also work closely with other staff to ensure effective communication.

Job Responsibilities
- Answering multi-line phones
- Greeting patients and vendors
- Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data
- Data entry into EHR systems.
- Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks
- Collecting outstanding balances and copays
- Providing patients with support and guidance as needed
- Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.

- High School diploma or equivalent certificate
- Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus
- Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians
