Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and domestic violence.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, petitions, and agreements.
- Assist attorneys in case preparation, including organizing evidence, scheduling hearings, and communicating with clients.
- Maintain client confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other legal professionals to ensure the successful resolution of cases.
Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA‑approved program.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a family law paralegal.
- Proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and case management software.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
Benefits and Salary
The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 – $100,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
