Dry Cleaner/Spotter/Presser Full Time

Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is looking for a Laundry Valet Attendant who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. Our Laundry Valet Attendant sorts, processes and finishes guest clothing and employee uniforms to exacting standards and retrieves and delivers clothing from guests for processing. This position reports to the Director of Housekeeping. U.S. work authorization is required for this position.

Key Elements of the Job

• Answers telephone calls from guests requiring cleaning or pressing services.
• Sorts guest items for appropriate action and then processes the clothing in the correct equipment, using the appropriate temperature and chemicals. Once processed, folds or hangs the clothing as desired. Delivers clothing to guest at time desired.
• Sorts employee uniforms for appropriate action and then processes the clothing in the correct equipment using the appropriate temperature and chemicals. Once processed, hangs uniforms in proper area.
• Operates and maintains washer, dryer, dry cleaning machine, steam tunnel, presser and iron. Reports any problems or deficiencies to manager.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in Laundry or Hotel Laundry position
• Able to read, write, and speak English
