Every day, you will expertly perform decontamination, prep and pack, sterilization, and dispatch with efficiency, expertise, and accuracy, delivering instruments with resourcefulness, determination, courtesy, and professionalism. You will continuously expand your knowledge of standards and procedures for surgical instrumentation. To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a rigorous commitment to infection control, ensuring optimal surgical outcomes with a professional demeanor.Collects all used instruments throughout the institution for sterilization.Demonstrates correct process for decontaminating all instrumentation.Demonstrates correct assembling of instrument sets and wraps for sterilization.Demonstrates correct packing of instruments in peel-packs.Demonstrates correct sterilization procedures for different types of instrumentation.Ensures sets are complete according to type of surgery scheduled.Required:High School Graduate/GEDTwo years experience or training in Sterile Processing.Join Siena Hospital: Impacting Lives, Locally and NationallyAt Siena Hospital, you'll become an integral part of Dignity Health Nevada, the only not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare system in the region.
