This is an entry-level, hands-on technical position for individuals interested in learning and applying robotic programming skills in the manufacturing industry. Primary Responsibilities:
- Primarily in Southeastern Michigan
- Occasional out-of-state travel possible
This is an entry-level, hands-on technical position for individuals interested in learning and applying robotic programming skills in the manufacturing industry. Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up and program industrial robots on customer job sites
- Perform robotic path and position touchups
- Teach and verify TCPs (Tool Center Points) and frames
- Load and adjust offline programs
- Adjust robot dress packs to prevent wear and rubbing
- Duplicate robotic configurations (axis limits, hard stops, etc.) across multiple units
- Back up robot programs
- Submit billing and documentation paperwork accurately
- Use Microsoft Office applications to complete reports and forms
- Follow safety protocols and work effectively both independently and on a team
- FIRST Robotics experience
- Computer programming
- Automotive repair or fabrication
- Electrical or mechanical systems
- Design/build experience
- Long periods of standing and movement in/around machinery
- Climbing ladders regularly
- Lifting up to 25 lbs and loading parts into tooling
- Ability to work varying shifts including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation is required
- Weekly time reporting required
- Self-motivated and technically curious
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness and physical ability to work in industrial environments
- Commitment to follow all company and customer policies
- Openness about any physical restrictions for accommodation planning
