Job Title: Endoscopy RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Gastroenterology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum 3 years License: RN degree Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Intra-procedural level and Gastro experience Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in Gastroenterology for an Endoscopy unit. The facility serves a diverse patient population with varying levels of acuity. The role involves assisting with medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services. Candidates must have experience in intraprocedural technical skills including biopsies, balloon dilatation, and therapeutic injections. Key procedures include Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and Bronchoscopy. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should possess critical thinking skills and be able to troubleshoot equipment and supplies. Weekend and evening on-call requirements may apply.
