Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join the 737 Manufacturing FA FD 2-3 2nd team in Renton Washington on 2nd shift.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.

• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

• Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

• Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, OR Manufacturing experience

• 3+ years of experience using the One Boeing Production System (BPS) OR use of Lean tools and principles

• 3+ years of experience using continuous improvement techniques

• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience developing presentations for senior leadership

• 3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading team

• 3+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership

• Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles

Shift:

This role is primarily 2ND SHIFT ; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Summary pay range: $126,000 - $154,000
