Our Building Engineering Services Group is hiring a Site Civil EIT to work in our Orlando, FL office. Primary Responsibilities Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation, and graphic presentations Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout, and drainage Perform routine engineering assignments requiring the application of standard techniques and procedures Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projects Work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects Assist the project team with project permitting submittal requirements with applicable jurisdictions Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity and demonstrated experience with civil engineering software such as Bentley Concept Station and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil 3D, specialty civil platforms (e.g. Openflows) Preference will be given to local candidates Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Proficientwith MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience withcivil engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and/or AutodeskInfraworks and Civil 3D; specialty civil platforms (e.g., Openflows) asrequired Strong written and verbal communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
