Opportunity Summary

An established country club community in Palm Desert is looking for a friendly, dependable Receptionist to cover a maternity leave. As the first voice and face people meet, you'll help members, guests, and staff feel welcome and keep the front office running smoothly. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday daytime role that offers a defined assignment of about 4 months and is open to entry-level candidates who want to build their office experience.
Responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and route incoming calls professionally, taking accurate messages when staff are unavailable.
• Greet members, guests, and visitors at the front desk and direct them to the right person or area.
• Respond to general questions in person, by phone, and by email with clear, courteous information.
• Enter and update information in the computer system, including messages, records, and basic correspondence.
• Support the office team with day-to-day administrative tasks to keep the front office organized.

Qualifications

Required

• Available to work onsite in Palm Desert, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Able to commit to the full assignment of approximately 4 months.

Preferred

• Prior office or front desk experience.
• Strong telephone skills, including handling and directing a steady volume of calls.
• Strong computer skills for email, data entry, and everyday office tasks.
