Manufacturing Associate IV / V, Small Scale Purification (Days)

Biogen seeks a Manufacturing Associate IV or V for small-scale purification operations at its Research Triangle Park facility. The role involves executing downstream processing steps including chromatography, filtration, and bulk dispensing in a cGMP-regulated environment, working 12-hour day shifts on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing activities including column chromatography, viral filtration, and ultra-filtration operations
• Document and record cGMP data, deviations, batch records, and equipment logbooks
• Conduct in-process sampling and analytical testing (pH, conductivity, protein concentration, osmolarity)
• Maintain clean and safe work environments with focus on audit readiness
• Participate in and lead training and development initiatives for team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years direct experience, or equivalent combination of credentials
• Previous experience in cGMP manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs and maintain Good Documentation Practices
• Experience in aseptic or cleanroom environments
• Knowledge of process automation and software systems (DeltaV, LIMS)
• Laboratory or manufacturing pipetting experience preferred
• Exposure to single-use consumables preferred

Compensation: $31.25-$43.27 base (Associate IV: $31.25-$40.87; Associate V: $33.17-$43.27)
