Physical Therapist - School Based

AB Staffing is seeking an experienced and passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to support students for the 2025–2026 school year in the Greater Chicago area. Pay: $50/hr Contract: Full school year (2025–2026) Caseload: Varies by location — we’ll match you with a classroom that fits your expertise and preferences. Start: ASAP or start of the school year. Physical Therapist (PT) Job Duties: Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care. Competent care rendered to patients. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands‑on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals. Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed. Document all patient care in accordance with department policies. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection‑control policies and protocols. Physical Therapist (PT) Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Must possess a valid Illinois License for Physical Therapy. 1+ years of relevant experience; experience in a school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred. BLS/CPR Cert. Must possess strong communication and organizational skills. Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Why choose AB Staffing?
