Registered Nurse - Progressive Care (PCU/Stepdown)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown team. This position requires a strong background in patient care, particularly for those transitioning from intensive care environments to more stable settings.

Role Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with varying degrees of acuity.
Monitor patient conditions and assess vital signs to ensure optimal outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Progressive Care or a related specialty.
Current active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact RN license.
Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Experience with electronic medical records; Cerner experience is preferred.
Ability to float to other locations as required.

Potential assignments may include multiple locations within the region, specifically in Laconia, NH, and Franklin, NH.
