ELECTRICAL ELECTRONICS TECH - 3rd shift

McCormick & Company, Incorporated , a global leader in flavor, is seeking an Electrical Electronics Technician – 3nd Shift. This individual will work in Atlanta, GA. POSITION OVERVIEW Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Team Manager, the incumbent will respond to electrical trouble calls on production/process equipment and utility breakdown. This includes diagnosing, repairing and testing industrial equipment including power service, motor starters, high/low voltage electrical systems, PLC controls, HMI networks (Ethernet I/P, DeviceNet, DH+), and electrical field devices (photo eyes, proxes, encoders, limit switches). RESPONSIBILITIES Diagnose, repair and test industrial equipment including power service, motor starters, high/low voltage electrical systems, PLC controls, HMI networks and electrical field devices. Utilize standard electrical test equipment to perform equipment tests using established procedures and write, update, and clarify test procedures. Help train others to conduct these tests properly. Perform preventive maintenance and general maintenance on both production equipment and facilities equipment. Complete assigned work orders and document all tests (e.g., oscilloscope, DMM, recorder, megger). Troubleshoot and identify root cause, recommend continuous improvements with cross‑functional teams in a High Performance Organization environment. Work with outside contractors on miscellaneous installations when needed. Own operating budget and input into capital budget for area(s). REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Significant experience in production/operations roles in a manufacturing plant environment. Experience leading multiple teams and/or departments, including direct and indirect reports. Experience achieving project goals and objectives by planning, organizing, and managing resources for successful project completion. Experience working in TPM or other lean manufacturing environments. Experience in the food and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry preferred. Ability to influence change initiatives. Understanding of commercial strategies and ability to make operational changes to support organizational performance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in food manufacturing.
