Reefer Technician

Job Description Job Description W&B Service Company has an excellent opportunity for a Transport Refrigeration Technician . We are the largest transport refrigeration dealer of Carrier Transicold, a world leader in Truck, Trailer and rail refrigeration systems. We are also the nation’s largest full service Hyundai Translead trailer dealer. We have 21 facilities throughout the Southwest, including Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. Duties will include: Perform diagnostics and repair starting and charging system, cooling and re-charge, and electrical including common fault codes. Repairs include performing leak detection procedures, compressor replacements, soldering refrigerant lines, evaporator/condenser replacements and front & rear main engine seal replacements. Perform repair and maintenance on reefer units in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairs. Must be able to diagnose and perform proper repairs Conform to all safety and health standards Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record Must have own tools Ability to lift up to 60 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb, and / or sit frequently throughout the duration of the day Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Attention to detail is key for this position Compensation: (Pay depends on experience) We offer a comprehensive benefits programs, including, but not limited to: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(K) – Retirement / Savings plan with company matching, Life Insurance, LTD, STD, PTO plans and uniforms.
