What you’ll do As a Senior SEO Executive at SALT.agency, you will take ownership of client delivery across a small portfolio of accounts, acting as the Client Delivery Manager while continuing to develop your consultancy and client‑relationship skills. You’ll directly manage up to 3 client accounts – taking responsibility for delivery, communications, and campaign performance – while supporting a maximum of 8 accounts in total. Day‑to‑day you’ll contribute to SEO roadmaps and strategy presentations, execute strategic activities including market research, content optimisation, reporting, and conduct technical SEO audits with clear, actionable recommendations. Beyond delivery, you’ll analyse performance data to generate insights that directly inform campaign strategy and contribute to SALT’s internal transformation initiatives – helping to refine the processes and frameworks that keep our service best‑in‑class. What you’ll bring to SALT A minimum of 2 years’ of SEO experience, with demonstrated ability to support successful campaigns. Good communication and client‑handling skills, with the ability to explain SEO concepts to diverse stakeholders. Good understanding of core SEO principles, including keyword optimisation, backlinks, content optimisation, and user experience. Awareness of algorithm updates and key concepts such as EEAT and Helpful Content, with the ability to adapt strategies accordingly. An awareness of how AI search developments are reshaping organic search, with a willingness to learn and apply this knowledge to client campaigns. Proficient in conducting technical SEO audits and providing clear, actionable recommendations. Confident in creating and presenting performance reports, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable guidance for clients. Confident with tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb and GA4. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
