Salary: $55,000 - $60,000

What We’re Looking For

• Restaurant management experience strongly preferred – ideal candidates will come from full-service, upscale, or high-volume restaurant operations.
• Proven experience leading front-of-house restaurant operations , including servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, supervisors, and support staff.
• Experience overseeing multiple dining outlets or service areas and maintaining consistent service standards across operations.
• Strong focus on hospitality, guest experience, service excellence, and team engagement .
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, schedule, and develop front-of-house teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Experience with catering, private events, or special-event execution preferred.
• Comfortable working in a highly visible, hands-on leadership role and engaging directly with residents, guests, and team members.
• Ability to partner with culinary leadership to deliver a restaurant-quality dining experience .
• Senior living experience is not required – we welcome candidates with strong restaurant and hospitality management backgrounds.

Job Summary

As an Assistant Director of Dining Services I, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day food service operations of a medium to large volume location. You will manage and lead a team of associates, and will be responsible for talent development, managing client relationships, profitability, and supporting financial goals in an assigned area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with the Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top quality food.
• Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams.
• Maintains excellent relationships with the client.
• Manages, trains, and develops associates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of food service management experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Experience with catering events
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial experience and business acumen skills.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
• Associate’s degree is preferred.
