Seasonal Medical Officer (part-time)

Overview The Thomas Jefferson Foundation that owns and operates Monticello, a world-renowned historic attraction with over 300,000 guests per year, seeks a part-time Seasonal Medical Officer. This position will provide first-aid medical response for Foundation employees and guests through May 2026 – October 2026. Responsibilities Provide first-aid medical response for Foundation employees and guests during May 2026 – October 2026. Demonstrated experience in providing first aid and emergency medical care. Use PC and tablet to write, submit, and file reports and document information. Work independently while exercising sound judgment and remain calm in emergency situations. Obtain and maintain certifications in Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, BLS for the Healthcare Provider, & Virginia State EMT-B or NREMT-B. Mutually compatible with the requirements: dependability and punctuality, valid Virginia driver’s license, ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend and squat, and work in restricted/small spaces.
