Two contract positions are now open for skilled school psychologists, providing an opportunity to serve in dynamic school settings. This engaging onsite role is located near Waterbury, CT, with positions available at both a high school and an elementary/middle school. Key Qualifications: Active Connecticut School Psychologist license required Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology Prior experience working in school-based settings is strongly preferred Skilled in educational testing, counseling, and supporting IEP/504 plan development Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes and supporting diverse learners Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological and educational assessments Participate in Eligibility, IEP, and multi-disciplinary team meetings Provide individual and group counseling as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs Interpret assessment results to inform intervention plans and accommodations Deliver crisis intervention and behavioral consultation when appropriate Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state standards Benefits and Perks: Full-time schedules, 35 hours per week, allowing for work-life balance Opportunity to work at two well-regarded schools across varied dates Gain valuable experience in a supportive educational environment Engage in meaningful, student-centered work each day Compensation for this position ranges from $38.93 to $68.93.
