Customer Operations Specialist

Teckrez, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Customer Operations Specialist in the chemical industry. This role is pivotal in providing administrative, operational, and most importantly, customer support. This position is responsible for accurate order entry, timely billing, as well as clear and effective communication with our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exemplary communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting a growing company. This is an onsite position at our beautiful headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida. Roles and Responsibilities Manage the order to cash process, including order entry, acknowledgments, product allocation, transportation coordination, warehouse release, invoicing, credits, returns, samples, and other order types. Process and track customer complaints, non-conformances, incidents, and pricing issues through resolution, partnering with Quality and other internal teams as needed. Maintain accurate customer pricing within the ERP system. Collaborate with Operations, Planning, and Warehousing to prioritize urgent orders, support key accounts, and facilitate resolution of complex customer requirements. Meet established performance standards, including on-time delivery, on-time billing, order-entry timeliness, and customer responsiveness. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements designed to improve customer service and operational efficiency. Maintain accurate CRM contact information and document key customer insights, sharing relevant learnings with Account Managers to support customer relationships and account strategy. Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date customer and order data within the ERP system, ensuring data integrity and supporting efficient business operations. Ideal Candidate Background 1-2 years of Customer Service Experience in an office environment Previous experience in a support role or data entry role, preferably within the chemical industry or a similar environment. Previous experience with hazardous and chemical distribution, hazmat paperwork and transportation management. Understanding of the special requirements associated with chemical products and made-to-order order fulfillment. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, OneNote, Outlook, Teams) Familiarity with an ERP system is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges as needed.
