Spare Parts Inventory Clerk

We operate a 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas. Overview We are hiring a Spare Parts Inventory Clerk to support inventory control, procurement, and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Schedule material replenishment based on inventory levels, equipment requirements, and demand forecasts. Generate material purchase requisitions to maintain appropriate inventory levels and prevent stock shortages. Routinely inspect inventory levels to identify critical shortages, excess inventory, obsolete materials, and opportunities for inventory optimization. Support preventive maintenance programs by ensuring required spare parts are available prior to scheduled maintenance activities. Conduct routine cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliations to maintain high inventory accuracy. Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve inventory control processes. Coordinate with Maintenance, Procurement, and Engineering regarding new equipment spare parts, recommended stocking levels, and inventory standardization. Maintain documentation and audit trails for all inventory adjustments, receipts, issues, and transfers. Monitor shelf life, expiration dates, and condition of inventory to ensure material quality and usability. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory management, warehouse efficiency, and equipment reliability. Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and in accordance with company policies. Who You Are Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and maintain a high level of inventory accuracy. Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack certification preferred or the ability to obtain certification. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required. Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred. Working knowledge of inventory control principles, material handling, and warehouse operations.
