Responsibilities Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include applying x‑ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups Provide a variety of technical procedures and apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis Perform and analyze patient x‑rays and report results to Medical Providers Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of Mercy‑GoHealth Urgent Care Centers Requirements High School Diploma required ARRT certification required Experience in a clinical setting preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required at time of hire Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and patient care management, while ensuring efficient operations in a clinical setting.
